In this write-up, we will well discuss about the trench coat for the fall/winter seasons, whilst giving you styling tips on how to incorporate trench with your formal or casual wear.
The market this year is ready with the fall trench coats. Military inspired, cropped, single breasted and double breasted, all these are making big rounds.
For fall/winter, you style anything with the trench coat; it is going to look awesome only. There are limitless options in color, length and style. However, for the chilly season, people prefer dark neutral shades like black, navy, khaki, dark brown.
Well, for fall, the coat act as a lightweight layer that saves you from rain showers and brisk winds. Throw it over tees, shirts and even funky knitwear
For the winters, you could well throw your trench coat over a cardigan, blazer or even a shirt. Opt for darker shades as they will keep you warm and well insulated. However, camel and beige are still my favorite.
Styling tips
Everything in your wardrobe can be worn with the trench coat. Every one owes V-neck tees and shirts in the wardrobe. A denim shirt is another wardrobe staple. Pull off a khaki coat and you are ready to groove the party. For a complete look, wear a pair of gloves, and military boots. The shirt in this case will be the focal point. You can even pair your trench coat with a Fair Isle, funnel.
The Importance of the waist belt
Although it was made more out of purpose, it is today widely popular as it gives a streamlined appearance to the wearer. This waist belt adds sharpness and makes the entire look appear more formal, even if you are wearing a casual outfit.
However, if you want to look different from the rest, replace the standard coat belt with your favorite leather belt, canvas belt. You can even create a color block look by popping up a red belt with a black trench coat. It will for sure garner attention.
