Pop singer and singing sensation Lady Gaga who is better known for her varied weird styles of dressing up was recently seen performing on a rock concert in a leather corset. The corset which she was wearing looked fabulous on her which even thrilled millions of her fans. The shoe which she blended with was in basic black and the makeup was kept minimal. Below listed are a few tricks to make a corset from your old or may be an unused T-shirt in a striking way. Put down your old T-shirt and place the sleeveless shirt on top. Arrange in a line the armpits of the sleeveless shirt with underarm of the bigger shirt and fasten them together. Mark out the outside of the sleeveless shirt in order to form a pattern on the bigger shirt which you have chosen in your favorite color. Make sure that the old T-shirt must be a size or two larger as compared to what you normally wear. This is done because the sewing work and tying laces will usually take more time. Take away the pins and pull off the sleeveless shirt. Pin up the front and back half of the bigger shirt fabric altogether and stitch around the marked line pattern. Turn around the stitch just about a half inch along every closure for extra strong support. Cut out the original shoulder arms off the t-shirt. Mark five inch wide vertical sections along the top of every shoulder with the help of a chalk and slit off the lines to form a few strips. Cut into both layers of the T-shirt and end half inch from the newly stitched shoulder seam. Make a new neckline for the T-shirt that you have chosen. Pick your scissors and put away the unwanted material which falls between both the shoulders of the shirt. If you are working on a scoop necked shirt then cut away the material between the collar and the chest area in a big semi circle. Trim along the marked line pattern so as to remove the sleeves from the shirt. Cut horizontal loops from the armpit to the base edge of the new seam. Begin to work with the lower right corner of the shirt and make certain that the strip is near to an inch. Turn over the shirt and keep going with the cut from left to right till you reach the new base closure. The last thing you have to do is threading the shirt with long lace till you reach the hemline. Wear your new made corset with matching accessories.
