  • Generally, the jacket gets wrinkled if they are kept folded for very long time. Hanging your jacket on an ordinary coat hanger can be the perfect way to solve the problems of creases on your favorite outfit. As leather is made from the natural thick skin, it may take around one week to release the wrinkles.
  • Place your jacket in the washroom and run a hot shower on top of it. The steam from the hot summer will assist in easing down the wrinkles. But ensure that there is no water spray or splashes on the jacket as this may damage its fabric.
  • Ironing your jacket is also a best option you have. Set the iron on warm temperature and place a heavy brown sheet between the jacket and iron. This will not only protect your exclusive attire from burns but will also allow enough heat to take away the wrinkles.
  • A hand-held steamer can also be used for treating the wrinkles. It helps you to spot treat the particular area that is more crumpled than others. But make that you are keeping the steamer a few inches away from the leather jacket so as to avoid it from condensation.
  • Also, do not keep your leather jacket in a plastic bag as leather needs to breathe and keeping it in plastic bag can lead it to crease down. Instead, store it in a garment bag made from cloth.
